COOKING METHOD
Prepare the dough:

in a bowl, spread the cold butter cut into small pieces, add the sifted flour, salt, 150 g of sugar — quickly we all rub it into crumbs. We add a loosened egg, 1 tablespoon of cream and, again, quickly, we collect the dough into a lump. Do not knead. We divide into 3 parts — two big identical and one smaller.

The dough is tightened with a film and sent to the refrigerator for 1 hour.

Cooking stuffing:

pour 335 g of sugar in a frying pan (sauté pan) and heat it over low heat until the sugar begins to melt and bubbles. To avoid the formation of lumps, it is not necessary to interfere, but only to shake in different directions.

In the melted sugar, with a thin trickle, pour in the cream and stir extensively. Boil the caramel minutes 8-12.

Pour out the nuts well mixed. Remove from the fire, add honey. Mix the mixture well again. Let the filling cool down.

Roll out on parchment, if necessary, lightly pouring flour, two identical circles — for the top and bottom of the cake. The lower part is placed right next to the parchment into the mold and put on the ring. From a small part of the dough to form a roller and laying in the mold to make the side of the cake. Put the stuffing. Close the top of the dough. Carefully join the edges of the dough. Put the pattern on your own.

Bake in a preheated to 180 degree oven (I have a convector) 40-45 minutes.

The form should be opened immediately after baking the cake to avoid its adherence to the walls of the mold.

The cake is not eaten freshly baked. The cooled cake wrapped in foil. In a day or two, it’s just right. Of course, I could not stand it that much, my cake stayed evening and night.
