Cake «Black Forest Cherry Cake»

This world-famous dessert consists of whipped cream, cherries, biscuit chocolate cakes soaked in kirschasser. To decorate the cake you need cherry and chocolate chips. the cake is simply prepared at home, while it is very light, airy and tasty!

Ingredients for the cake:

250 gr of flour;
150 g of sugar;
50 g of cocoa;
150 ml of milk;
35 ml of vegetable oil;
1 bag of baking powder;
6 eggs;
1 ampoule of vanilla essence.
ingredients for syrup:

100 ml of cherry liqueur;
50 ml of cherry;
150 ml of water.
Ingredients for Cream:

500 ml of sour cream 35% of fat content;
150 g of cherry (without pits);
100 grams of cherries (fresh or in their own juice);
50 gr of bitter sweet cherries;
50 g of sugar;
2 tsp. starch.
for decor:

250 g of flakes from dark chocolate.

Cooking:

1. Whisk the eggs with sugar and a pinch of salt so that the mixture doubles in volume.

2.add flour to the egg mixture with baking powder and cocoa, then gradually pour in, continuously stirring milk (room temperature), vanilla essence and vegetable oil. The consistency of the dough should be sufficiently liquid.

3.place on the bottom of a baking dish with a diameter of 28 cm parchment paper, grease it with butter and pour the dough.

4. Bake the cake at a temperature of 180 degrees, about 40-45 minutes. The degree of readiness of the cake is determined with a conventional toothpick. if it seems to you that the cake is still damp, leave it in the oven for another 2-3 minutes. Cool the finished cake, then cut it horizontally into 3 identical sized cakes.

Fruit preparation:

5. In a small saucepan, combine the fruit with sugar and water, and put on a small fire. cook the fruit until they become soft and the syrup boil to half. Dissolve the starch in 3 tablespoons. water, gradually add it to the fruit mixture and mix. After the fruit mass boils several times, the fruit is ready.

6.remove the fruit from the fire, add cherry, liquor and cool it. Cooled fruits, wipe through a sieve.
